Gary S. Roboff

Gary S. Roboff is a Senior Consultant with The Santa Fe Group and BITS.

Over the past 30 years, Mr. Roboff has contributed his talents to the financial services industry, and in particular to financial services planning and management. In 2000, Gary retired as Senior Vice President of Electronic Commerce at JPMorgan Chase.  Since then he has served as a key consultant and strategist to BITS, leading the industry association’s efforts in payments strategies and aggregation services. During his years at JPMorgan Chase and its predecessor organizations, Mr. Roboff managed the bank’s ATM program and served as Chair of the NYCE Board of Directors.  Then, on special assignment, he was President and  CEO of the NYCE for two years. Mr. Roboff is past Board Chair of EFTA, the Electronic Funds Transfer Association. Mr. Roboff led the effort to return Chase to the acquiring business and was founder of Chase Merchant Services.  Mr. Roboff now lends his expertise to The Santa Fe Group as a consultant focusing on financial services payments, risk management practices, internet functionality and information management.
