Paul Carrubba is a leader in banking industry law and management. For more than two decades, he served as Senior Vice President and Manager of Operations for Deposit Guaranty National Bank, where he developed systems for detection of new account fraud and check kiting. He then served as executive vice president and managing director of the Global Payments Group for Carreker Corporation.
Throughout his career, Paul has provided expert testimony and litigation support to major banking organizations in the US and internationally on bank operations, fraud reduction, and the laws and regulations surrounding the payment system. Paul is author or co-author of six books on banking law, including The Bank Operations Consolidation Manual, A Practical Guide to UCC Article 4A-Funds Transfer, and the textbook Principles of Banking. He is a member of the faculty of the Alabama School of Banking and the BAI’s Graduate School of Bank Operations and Technology.
