Dave Beed is a partner and founding member of the JIRB Group, LLC, an executive recruiting firm based in Connecticut. The Santa Fe Group has a strategic partnership with JIRB Group.
Dave has more than 25 years of management, marketing and recruiting experience. He specializes in recruiting key executives for companies that are growing and going through significant changes. He has notable expertise conducting management evaluations as part of the due diligence process for acquisitions.
Prior to forming JIRB Group, Dave was partner and practice leader of the insurance practice at LAI Worldwide. Before entering the executive search arena, he served as senior vice president and group head of Connecticut Mutual's Strategic Transformation Group. Dave previously served as Connecticut Mutual's chief marketing officer.
Earlier in his career, Dave was president and chief operating officer of New Jersey Blue Cross/Blue Shield, where he created and initiated the strategy that ultimately transformed NJBCBS into a managed care company. Additionally, he was executive vice president and chief marketing officer with Transamerica Life Companies.
Dave is a former member of the US Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Council, the LOMA Strategic Management Committee and the LIMRA Strategic Issue Marketing Committee. Dave has served on the boards of Transamerica Life Companies, Transamerica Life & Annuity Company and Transamerica Assurance Company, and New Jersey Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Dave earned his BA at the University of Iowa. He attended executive programs at the University of Virginia's DARDEN School and is a graduate of the Hartford Chapter of the American Leadership Forum.
