Jim Maloney is President and CEO of Cyber Risk Strategies, leveraging more than 25 years of information technology experience on behalf of his clients. More than half of that experience is related specifically to risk management and information security, including CEO and Chief Security Executive positions. Jim has expertise in most facets of security program management including security strategy, risk assessment, security framework selection, policies, procedures, staffing, compliance, and technology evaluations. He has also been directly involved in the full lifecycle of security product and services development from both business and technology perspectives.
Jim is the former vice president and global head of security for a large e-commerce firm, managing the security of all internal and customer-facing information systems and data. Other recent assignments include serving as chief security executive and vice president of security solutions for Corillian Corporation (Internet banking and security solutions), president and chief executive officer for Security Portal (online security consulting and information), and global practice leader for information security at SRI Consulting.
His accomplishments include defining and implementing an Information Security Management System at Corillian that was certified against the BS7799 standard. Subsequently, it was also one of the first security programs in the
