Leslie Mitchell leads Vendor Council Outreach for The Santa Fe Group, working with new and existing members to ensure they get maximum value from their participation, and engaging new members. Leslie also works with Santa Fe Group staff and consultants on key strategic initiatives.
Formerly a senior consultant with BITS, Leslie was responsible there for projects relating to payments and operational risk, and co-managing BITS standards, authentication, and aggregation services projects. Leslie helped to guide the BITS aggregation initiative through landmark accomplishments, including the development and publication of the BITS Voluntary Guidelines for Aggregation Services.
Leslie s background includes institutional banking, brokerage and student loan facilities finance. Her extensive experience in financial services as well as industry association management includes work with NACHA, the Risk Management Association, SallieMae, Merrill Lynch, the Futures Industry Institute, and the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Leslie holds a BA from Georgetown University and completed the Manufacturers Hanover Trust training program for corporate banking officers.
